Mammography Services
Texas has nearly 540 on-site mammography programs accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The facilities offering these services are distributed across the state appropriate to the population density. Services are available through a hospital or a freestanding mammography center using dedicated equipment and specially trained technicians as recommended by ACR guidelines.
