READABILITY

Are sentences/paragraphs short, simple, and written in the active voice?

Is the vocabulary level appropriate for your Hispanic audience?

LAYOUT

Does the material use advance organizers or headers related to the text?

Are underlining, bulleting and bolding used for emphasis and organization?

Are type style and size easy to read?

VISUALS

Is the material well-organized to enhance visual appeal?

Is the material colorful and eye-catching?

Are illustrations and graphics relevant to the text?

FORMAT

Is the format of material appropriate for intended use?

COST

Is the cost of the material feasible?
